Portugal
Our trip to Portugal was only a short day trip. We took an early morning flight and saw a perfect sunrise just after flying over the Portuguese-Spanish border. We only had time to visit the city of Porto in the North of the country.
Porto is a vibrant coastal city with a rich history, but if you visit either of Portugal's major cities, be prepared for many stairs, which make for a fantastic exercise experience. I advise eating at every pastry shop, walking up and down the stairs for a while… then heading to another pastry shop. Try the Pastel de Nata—all of them!
Porto, with its unique blend of history, culture, and coastal beauty, left a lasting impression on me. I'm already planning my next trip to this fantastic city, eager to explore more of its hidden spaces.
